The project was developed specifically for the location: in the thick of the coniferous forest, a natural clearing with a diameter of 8-9 meters was formed, so the house has the shape of a cylinder 11 meters high.
On its roof there is a swimming pool with a glass bottom. According to the concept, only four such villas can be located on the territory of the boutique hotel.
When inside, a person does not feel the boundaries and volume of the house: it is completely glass, there are no curtains, so special lighting is provided – one push of a button creates a comfortable twilight, the second push allows you to illuminate the forest to a depth of 50 meters. This creates a feeling of security even in the dark. To achieve even greater immersion in nature, a rainwater drain pipe made of cast polycarbonate is placed inside the house along one of the columns.
An outdoor heated pool with hydromassage on the roof has a drive mechanism that allows you to automatically raise the thermal cover into a special niche under the roof. The pool’s view and terrace are facing south, allowing more daylight to reach the second floor through the glass bottom of the pool.
To allow more daylight to reach the first floor, part of the interfloor space is left unfilled. In this space, a platform is attached to the columns, which serves as the base for the bed on the second floor. The second floor features a panoramic view and a glass bottom of the pool in the ceiling, behind which there is a meter of water.
