In the spring, the state of roads is especially deplorable. After the cold and wet season, the asphalt is certainly required in some road sections. But in our country, everything ends at best with a “cosmetic repairs”. But road signs and markings also require updating. Road marking should always be clearly applied to the asphalt, because without noticing it, the driver can not only stop at the pedestrian crossing, turning or stopping public transport, but also get confused in the directions of movement or to overtake in the wrong place. Speaking of road markings, it is important to pay attention to what it happens and what it informs about. Road marking is 2 types: temporary and constant. Temporary marking is usually used when carrying out repair or construction work, and it is distinguished by orange color. And the constant marking of white color, informs and calls for drivers to pay attention to how traffic is regulated in this section of the road. Such marking, in turn, is also divided into several types:- Double continuous strip- shares the flows of transport on roads with great workload;- wide continuous strip- usually shows the boundaries and shares the carriageway from the pedestrian zone;- narrow continuous strip- shares the opposite in the direction traffic traffic;- a continuous strip also denotes the ban on the blocking on this section of the road.- The dashed strip is used to separate the traffic flows moving both in one direction and in different. A strip with small strokes also allows drivers to overtake or advance on this road area. Painting for road markings is made from special materials that are especially persistent against environmental impact. Also, not so long ago, materials appeared that reflect the light and allow drivers to better see the markings in the dark.
