Replacing the window block implies the subsequent installation of a window slope, since the previous slope cannot be damaged when replacing the window. Installation of plastic windows entailed a new problem – education on mold slopes.
What materials are used to make a slope and which of them have a long service life? What needs to be done with slopes if plastic windows are in the house?
The window slope can be made from the following materials:
plastic – such material is not only a logical continuation of the plastic window. Plastic is suitable as a material for a slope, since under it you can place a layer of insulation, thereby avoiding mold on it – mold appears in the coldest places in the house. The plastic sloping is convenient in care – it is enough to clean it with water, and the material will not suffer from such cleaning;
wood – slopes of wood are appropriate;
drywall – drywall sheets can be used to create a slope, but the hyposarton should be used moisture resistant, since the slope of the slope has an increased humidity level, which can ruin the usual drywall. With the help of drywall, it is easy to create a perfectly flat slope surface.
plaster is the most affordable material for creating a slope. This material has negative sides – cracks are formed on the surface of the slope from the plaster, so it is not the most reliable for such work. The slope of the plaster consists of several layers, it takes time to create such a slope for drying each layer.
