One of the very good types of flooring is a coating of a massive board. In fact, such a coating is very reminiscent of a parquet, but the main difference is that each board has grooves. Installation of the floor from a massive board requires very careful observance of all rules that have a large number.
From the very beginning, it is very important to carry out the procedure for equalizing and preparing the floor. At the same time, after applying all the plasters and putty, the floor must dry and be absolutely dry. The reason for this is that moisture is very harmful to the plank coating.
After that, be sure to put a layer of plywood on the floor. It will be very good if you use a waterproof plywood. Moreover, plywood should be quite dense. That is, if the massive board has a thickness of 20 mm, then the thickness of the plywood should be 15 mm. The optimal plywood sheets are 80×80 cm dimensions.
Next, you need to install the plywood in a run. In this case, there should be a space of 3-5 millimeters between the sheets. Then the sheets are fixed with screws around the entire perimeter, as well as the diagonals.
The next stage is plywood grinding and removal of all unnecessary chips and dust using a vacuum cleaner. After that, lay out the first row of boards. To do this, draw a flat line along the wall at a distance of 5-10 millimeters. Lay out the first row, and behind it the second, and in a run, shifting the boards for a third of the boards of the first. When everything is fine, they indicate a row with a pencil of the second row, disassemble, apply glue and put in place again. And so to the end.
