Monolith is a special construction technology, the essence of which is that the concrete mass in a liquid state is fed into the formwork and the inner wall of the house is continuous, without joints and seams. The external walls can be absolutely any – both brick and panel. Often there are projects of monolithic houses even with hinged walls. Several layers of special insulation are laid between the outer and internal walls. As the foundation of the house, a concrete plate of meter thickness is used, reinforced by steel reinforcement. The frame of the building in such construction is a single whole with the foundation.
A monolithic structure always gives an uniform shrinkage of the house, which eliminates the formation of cracks and allows you to immediately repair any complexity and cost. Monolith is a whole structure, so the neighbor pouring you from above will not become the worst enemy for you, since it will be cleaned and only at home – water will not pass through the whole surface. Another important advantage of such a house is a good sound insulation of apartments.
In monolithic houses, as a rule, underground parking is built. The builders monolithic technology allows you to widely introduce the latest technological innovations, such as, for example, central air conditioning or ventilated facade.
