The space of the room can be divided conditionally, or you can build an interior partition, which will be isolated from extraneous noise and external fuss. For additional separation of space, there are a lot of different partitions – from mobile screens to stationary brick walls. The stationary partition, of course, is characterized by more complex installation and expensive price, but unlike the screen, it is more durable, strong, provides an increased level of sound insulation. You can hang furniture or other heavy items on a stationary partition, which you cannot do with a conventional screen.
Stationary interior partitions can be erected not only from brick. In addition to this material, you can also use glass blocks, grooves, and cellular concrete.
Partitions made of brick and cellular concrete have the heavier weight. This is especially true for cellular concrete. After the construction, the partition must be plastered and only then use the selected finishing material. Such partitions have the largest thickness, therefore the best sound insulation.
Groove slabs have lighter weight. Installation of the partition from this material takes less time than the installation of brick partitions and cellular concrete. Plates are interconnected using special glue. After installation, the partition does not need to be plastered, you can immediately start finishing work.
Partitions from glass blocks are distinguished by special characteristics. Sectoblocks in shape resemble bricks. It is impossible to cut such material, so the factories produce half -hearted and corner elements. You cannot laid out communications through such a partition.
