Many of us still have ordinary wooden floors in apartments and houses. Such sexual coating requires frequent repairs, but there are only two types of main sources of problems with such floors – this is a creak of boards and bending them. What in this case to do?
1. If the floor creaks, then, most likely, due to the fact that the boards are slightly dispersed, that is, albeit small, but gaps exist between them. In order to not be such a problem, it is necessary to put on such holes and drive a wooden wedge into the location of the split, and it is desirable for the same breed from wood. To do this, you can use both ordinary construction putty and special, but the first is much cheaper.
First a solution is poured into the hole, it is waiting for its drying. Then put down. After the drying of our putty, we make small wooden forms, depending on the shape of the hole that we put down. The flooring itself can be different, so it is advisable to make the wedge so that it repeats the contours of the hole. Everything, as soon as we drove the blades, the floor will definitely stop the floor.
2. Paul bending is a much more serious problem. The floor not only creaks in this case, but can simply fall down from gravity and wear. Only the complete replacement of the boards that bend (of course, if there is no way to replace the entire floor at once) will help here). The boards are completely withdrawn, even if they bend only in one small area. Then new ones are simply nailed in their place, they are driven under those that you have remained whole.
Only in this case, it is already necessary to use boards of the same tree breed. If old boards were from pine, then new from pine. Next – we cover with varnish. And all.
